Description
The SINTEF Group (Stiftelsen SINTEF) is the largest independent research organisation in Scandinavia and is represented in INFRARISK by the Information and Communication Technology (SINTEF ICT) research division through the department for Networked Systems and Services (NSS), and in particular the MODUS group. This department provides research-based expertise in Internet of Services and Internet of Things technologies, cloud computing, semantic Web, model-driven development, quality and security technology, and user-centered development. MODUS has been active in the development of various metamodels and languages, methods and tools for model-driven systems engineering, and recently in the development of sensor and services technologies, knowledge management, big data and cloud computing.
